Not only are these HIIT workouts <a href=\"http:\/\/www.builtlean.com\/2016\/07\/08\/hiit-workout-duration\/\" class=\"\">challengin\ufeffg and effective<\/a>, but they\u2019re also extremely fun to do.&nbsp;<\/p><h2 class=\"\">1. Boxing HIIT Circuit<\/h2><p style=\"\" spellcheck=\"false\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.12minuteathlete.com\/train-like-a-boxer-10-exercises-to-get-you-in-fighting-shape\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">Boxing<\/a> is a great form of cardio as it builds limb speed, arm strength, and stamina. This workout will combine a few boxing moves performed in a high-intensity interval training manner to push your client to their limits.<\/p><p style=\"\" spellcheck=\"false\">Perform the following moves for <span style=\"background-color: rgb(239, 232, 88);\">30 seconds&nbsp;maximum, at an all-out intensity<\/span>, and go through each move consecutively without rest. <\/p><p style=\"white-space: normal;\" spellcheck=\"false\">After performing all the moves, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.askthetrainer.com\/active-recovery-workout-examples\/\" class=\"\">actively rest<\/a> by walking around for 60-90 seconds before starting the circuit again. Perform the circuit 4-6 times, depending on your client\u2019s fitness level<\/p><h3 class=\"\"><span class=\"bold_text\">The Circuit:<\/span><\/h3><ul class=\"thrv_wrapper\"><li class=\"\">Alternating left\/right jab cross<\/li><li class=\"\">Alternating left\/right hook<\/li><li class=\"\">Freestyle (combine any moves you want and go all out for 30 seconds!)<\/li><li class=\"\">Jump rope or burpees<\/li><\/ul><div class=\"thrv_wrapper thrv_contentbox_shortcode\" data-tve-style=\"1\">\n<div class=\"tve_cb tve_cb1 tve_red\" data-tve-custom-colour=\"14325509\">\n<div class=\"tve_hd tve_cb_cnt\" data-tve-custom-colour=\"95469865\">\n<h3 class=\"\" data-tve-custom-colour=\"40529916\">\nPRO TIPS:<\/h3>\n<span><\/span>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"tve_cb_cnt\">\n<p style=\"\" spellcheck=\"false\"><span class=\"bold_text\">Jab cross:<\/span> Keep your feet shoulder-width apart and your hands up at head level. TRX HIIT Workout<\/h2><p style=\"white-space: normal;\" spellcheck=\"false\">This workout involves the popular <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dangerouslyfit.com.au\/fitness-equipment\/trx-exercises-benefits-of-suspension-training\/\" class=\"\">TRX suspension trainer<\/a>. This is great for clients who are looking to try something new or for clients that you don\u2019t train in a gym.<\/p><p style=\"white-space: normal;\" spellcheck=\"false\">There will be 6 exercises to go through consecutively without rest. <a href=\"http:\/\/ginmillerfitness.com\/2010\/04\/how-to-measure-exercise-intensity\/\" class=\"\">Keep the intensity high<\/a> throughout each movement. After all of the 6 exercises are completed, have your client rest for 60-90 seconds and then repeat the circuit 4-6 more times.<\/p><h3 class=\"\"><span class=\"bold_text\">The Circuit:<\/span><\/h3><ul class=\"thrv_wrapper\"><li class=\"\">Jump squats (15 reps)<\/li><li class=\"\">Back rows (15 reps)<\/li><li class=\"\">Left single leg squats (10 reps)<\/li><li class=\"\">Right single leg squats (10 reps)<\/li><li class=\"\">Mountain climbers (30 seconds)<\/li><li class=\"\">Plank (60 seconds)<\/li><\/ul><div class=\"thrv_wrapper thrv_contentbox_shortcode\" data-tve-style=\"1\" id=\"\">\n<div class=\"tve_cb tve_cb1 tve_red\" data-tve-custom-colour=\"72681837\">\n<div class=\"tve_hd tve_cb_cnt\" data-tve-custom-colour=\"35152177\">\n<h3 class=\"\" data-tve-custom-colour=\"39933858\">\nPRO TIPS:<\/h3>\n<span><\/span>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"tve_cb_cnt\">\n<p style=\"\" spellcheck=\"false\"><span class=\"bold_text\">Jump squats:<\/span> Stand shoulder-width apart and stand far enough away so that there is tension in the straps when you hold the handles. Keeping the handles in place, squat down and jump up on your way back up. While keeping your arms straight, walk your feet forward until there is tension in the straps. <span style=\"background-color: rgb(239, 232, 88);\">Pull yourself up by retracting your shoulder blades back and down<\/span>. Keep your core tight and a neutral back throughout the movement. If it\u2019s too easy, move the feet a bit further forward.<\/p><p style=\"white-space: normal;\" spellcheck=\"false\"><span class=\"bold_text\">Single leg squats:<\/span> Get in a similar position as you did in the jump squats. However, this time, anchor one foot on the ground and raise the other foot straight out in front of your body with your knee straight. While keeping tension on the straps, bend your knees down and your hips back into a squat position. Keep your heel on the ground and your knees above your ankle. Weighted Stair Climber Intervals<\/h2><p style=\"\" spellcheck=\"false\">This one is one of my favourite workouts. It\u2019s a brutal exercise, yet it's a fun way to get your clients out of their usual routine and out of their comfort zone.<\/p><div class=\"thrv_wrapper thrv_custom_html_shortcode\" style=\"margin-bottom: -20px !important;\"><iframe src=\"\/\/giphy.com\/embed\/b0fMqmWufQdvW\" width=\"600\" height=\"359\" frameborder=\"0\" class=\"giphy-embed\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><p><a href=\"https:\/\/giphy.com\/gifs\/black-and-white-horror-creepy-b0fMqmWufQdvW\"><\/a><\/p><div class=\"tve_iframe_cover\"><\/div><\/div><p class=\"tve_p_center italic_text\" style=\"white-space: normal;\" spellcheck=\"false\">Stair-climbing might feel like this in the moment, but your clients will thank you for it when they start seeing quick results!<\/p><p style=\"white-space: normal;\" spellcheck=\"false\">If you have a flight of stairs in your gym you can use that; otherwise, I suggest using a Stair Master machine or something similar. Have your client <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ultimatesandbagtraining.com\/\" class=\"\">carry a \ufeffsandbag<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ultimatesandbagtraining.com\/\" class=\"\"><\/a> on their shoulders while performing a stair climb. If you have a flight of stairs in your gym, <span style=\"background-color: rgb(239, 232, 88);\">your client can walk\/run up and down the stairs as many times as they can within 30 seconds<\/span>. Then, they can take a 90-second rest before repeating this&nbsp;for 15-20 minutes.<\/p><p style=\"\" spellcheck=\"false\">If you need to use a Stair Master machine, your client can still keep the sandbag on their shoulders and use the machine at a fast pace for 30 seconds, then rest for 90 seconds, and repeat for 15-20 minutes.<\/p><h2 class=\"\">4. Dumbbell HIIT Circuit<\/h2><p style=\"white-space: normal;\" spellcheck=\"false\">This <a href=\"http:\/\/hiityourbody.com\/hiit-weight-training-workout\/\" class=\"\">HIIT routine<\/a>&nbsp;involves a pair of dumbbells that will be used for each exercise. It\u2019s a great way to combine weight training and cardio into a single routine. Just be sure to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nerdfitness.com\/blog\/2014\/02\/06\/strength-training-101-how-much-weight-should-i-be-lifting\/\" class=\"\">pick a weight<\/a> that is appropriate for your client\u2019s fitness level.<\/p><p style=\"white-space: normal;\" spellcheck=\"false\">Go through the following exercises consecutively with no rest. Once the circuit is complete, rest for 90 seconds before starting the circuit again. Keep your core tight and pull one dumbbell to your side then back down. But when you jump up, don\u2019t raise your hands over your head, simply keep your arms down by your side.<\/p><p style=\"white-space: normal;\" spellcheck=\"false\"><span class=\"bold_text\">Lunge and press<\/span>: Same idea as the lunge with bicep curl. Instead, press both dumbbells over your head when you reach the bottom position of the lunge.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><h2 class=\"\">5. Total Bodyweight HIIT Circuit<\/h2><p style=\"white-space: normal;\" spellcheck=\"false\">This is a simple yet very effective workout that <a href=\"http:\/\/makeyourbodywork.com\/best-online-workout-videos\/\" class=\"\">requires zero equipment<\/a>. Go through the following exercises consecutively with no rest. Take a 90-second rest after completing the circuit, and then repeat for 4-6 rounds.
