Tell Your Story Over and Over<\/h2>\n<p>Just be yourself. Yeah, you&#8217;ve heard heard this before, but how do you pull it off in a way that brings in more online clients?<\/p>\n<p>You are not <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chalenejohnson.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Charlene Johnson<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menshealth.com\/entertainment\/a23621596\/arnold-schwarzenegger-bodybuilding-interview\/\" target=\"_blank\">Arnold Schwarzenegger<\/a> &#8211; that&#8217;s okay. <span style=\"background-color: rgb(239, 232, 88);\">What do you have that your ideal clients will be attracted to?<\/span> &nbsp;Maybe you&#8217;re no fitness model, but you did lose 100 pounds while struggling being a single mom and working full time? That&#8217;s a story other women in your shoes will latch onto. <\/p>\n<p>Or perhaps you were a scrawny weakling who lacked confidence before taking control of your fitness. Now you&#8217;re fit, healthy, confident, successful, and ready to inspire others to do the same.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>How often are you sharing your personal story? Just because it&#8217;s on your website doesn&#8217;t mean anyone knows it or remembers it. But, in my personal experience, the more I did &#8220;me,&#8221; the more others came up to me and inquired about training or coaching.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, <span style=\"background-color: rgb(239, 232, 88);\">don&#8217;t worry if your story isn&#8217;t &#8220;finished&#8221; yet<\/span>. Maybe you&#8217;ve still got 20 pounds to lose &#8211; great! Tell the world where you started and where you&#8217;re headed. You never know who you will inspire to start doing it with you.<\/p>\n<h2>2. Don&#8217;t Be Afraid to Be Exclusive<\/h2>\n<p>As a coach, you are confident in your abilities and what you can accomplish when you&#8217;re working with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webtrafficthatworks.com\/choose-right-client-business\/\" target=\"_blank\">the right clients<\/a>. You know the ones I&#8217;m talking about &#8211; the ones you REALLY connect with and the ones who see the biggest life transformations.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t be afraid to be a bit exclusive. If you love working with a specific type of client, use this to your advantage. <span style=\"background-color: rgb(239, 232, 88);\">Speak directly to this person in your social media posts. Create content for this ideal client. Write emails that are relevant to that type of person.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Yes, your message can end up polarizing to some prospects, but this is NOT a BAD thing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>You want a relationship, not a bunch of first dates. The more intimate you become with your ideal clients, the more loyalty you&#8217;ll build and the more ideal clients you&#8217;ll attract.&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For example, if I tried to train someone who&#8217;s preparing for a body building competition, I would not only totally disappoint them but become defeated myself. I&#8217;m not that kind of coach, so why would I pretend?&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" title=\"maxresdefault\" data-id=\"5026\" src=\"https:\/\/www.totalcoaching.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/maxresdefault.jpg\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Identify your ideal client and then tailor your message specifically for them<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 26px; margin-top: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; margin-right: 0px; text-align: center;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t know who your ideal client is? &nbsp;If you&#8217;re not quite sure, ask yourself:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><strong>What was your journey to get healthy? <\/strong>(i.e. your struggles and successes)<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>What areas of fitness excite you the most?<\/strong> What is your passion?&nbsp;<em>(e.g. bodybuilding, yoga, running, strength training, Pilates, etc.)<\/em><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>What type of clients would bring you the most joy<\/strong> and would you find the most rewarding to work with? <em>(e.g. elderly, post pregnancy moms, professional athletes)<\/em><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>What type of people do you find most receptive to your message?<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>(e.g. women, men, low\/high confidence, beginner exercisers)<\/em><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In short, it&#8217;s quite likely that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onlinetrainersfederation.com\/how-do-i-find-my-fitness-niche\" target=\"_blank\">your ideal clients<\/a> will have deep commonalities with YOU. That&#8217;s why your personal brand will allow you to attract them so well IF you zero in and become a bit exclusive.<\/p>\n<p>Forget what others are doing to attract their clients. Sure, you can borrow some ideas here and there, but trying to project a message that&#8217;s not your own is not going to grow your business.<\/p>\n<h2>3. Offer Services You Want to Offer<\/h2>\n<p>It can be tempting to look at what other online personal trainers are offering and question whether you should be doing things differently within your business:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Do I need to lower my prices like he&#8217;s doing?<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Should I be offering more intense workouts like her?<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Do I need to have a Facebook group like that coach?<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Are my coaching techniques good enough?<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Again, it can be helpful to learn from what others are doing, but you have to be YOU. What an honour. Regardless of how other online coaches are doing it, your job is deliver results to your clients in the way YOU know how.
